Chapter 28

¹ Isaac called to Jacob and blessed him and gave him this command: “You must not take a wife from among the daughters of Canaan. ² Up, go to Paddan-aram, to the house of Bethuel, the father of your mother, and take a wife from there, from among the daughters of Laban, the brother of your mother. ³ May God Almighty bless you; may he make you fruitful and multiply you, so that you become a multitude of people.
